whestTWO Anniversary - found where I want to be

Hey James.
It has arrived and is playing in the background.  1st off... the build is beautiful, like a little jewel.  The sound though is far from small.  It is like the Dr Who Tardis.  A small, compact device and a HUGE sound.  I've alreadt played a few things this evening - Dido, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush and also some Miles Davis.  It all sounds so open and amazingly real.  From bass to treble, the sound is so clear.

For comparison I put it up against my friends Goldnote 5.2 Phonostage (£1K).  The GN 5.2 has a lot of fancy tech on board but once you set it up you just leave it alone.  Outside of that, the Goldnote 5.2 is no match for the whestTWO Anniversary.  The whestTWO is better in every department.  The whestTWO Anni sounds bigger, separates instruments and produces them in 3D and the music just flows out with the whestTWO.  The Goldnote 5.2 sounds like hifi / MP3 in comparison.
