You were absolutely spot-on. I really have seen the light. My vinyl setup absolutely and most definitely betters my digital setup and by a margin that I could not ever imagine.
Running the CH Precision D1.5 CD/SACD player with C1.2 DAC, I thought this was IT !!! and at a total cost of £45K you'd think nothing at all could touch it. HOW WRONG WAS I ?
Even using this Brinkmann Balance turntable with their 10.5" arm and Audio Technica ART20, this vinyl setup is in a different league altogether. The CH Precision setup sounds so lifeless, 1 dimensional and very 'digital'. The 60Se Pro does so much more than I thought possible. Friends have warned me about getting into expensive gear like CH Precision and I can see why. As you know, KJ Leisure in London let me use their AR 3SE and EMT 128 phono stages, they sounded very bland in this system. The 60Se Pro, cheaper and again trounced both of them out of this room.
I am more than happy with this purchase, stunningly revealing, musical and RIGHT !!
