Enough of all that and to my 40Se Pro. Captain James.. how on earth did you do it? My already great vinyl setup has stepped up 20 levels. I honestly thought I had heard it all. My audio buddies were VERY VERY sceptical about the upgrade until last night. Joseph Mann bought over his 40RDT SE and we compared it to the 40Se Pro. My God !!!! I know you have now spoken to him but talk about jaw dropping.
Like you said, I have retained the neutrality but gained detail, soundstage depth and width, space, dynamics and dare I say musicality. Simple 70s recordings from the Carpenters sounds absolutely stunning and more recent recordings sound jaw dropping amazing.
Moonshine Freeze by This is the kit sounds fantastic James. The guys were all astonished on just how realistic everything sounded. Hats off... bloody genius.
