Fantastic upgrade for my aging VPI HW19 HotRod - whest 20.DP0

It's been great dealing with you and feeling the passion you have for music and what you do.
The 20.DP0 is nicely tucked into the rack, plumbed in using your VDH cable and is currently playing Steely Dan's Royal Scam.  I was told to sell my VPI HW19 HotRod/ Fidelity Research FR-64 because things have moved on so much in 30 years.  Well you have just proved 2 audio forums totally wrong !!!

The whest 20.DP0 is playing back things I have never heard before.  It is like I have a whole new system (I bet you have heard this before) BUT IT IS !  The stereo separation, dynamics and instruments are all so alive.  Makes my Parasound JC3+ sound like a hifi toy.  The JC3+ is good but not anywhere near this level.  It was hard parting with the JC3+ because I had so many forum users telling me it was the best under $8K.... its not even close !!!

So what is next?  Now I have the HW19 sounding amazing, I might look into making it a little better by changing the tonearm cable to VDH and getting a new cartridge next year.  For now though, this is doing everything I always wanted it to do.
