Here is a short review. Plumbed in the TechDAS AF Premium/ Brinkmann 10.5/ EMT 75s and let the 60Se Pro combination warmup while I was away.
BOY !!!.. what a sound. I am inviting you around to hear this. Soundstage, Soundstage, soundstage oh and endless dynamics. I cannot really get my head around what I am hearing. The Boulder 2108 Phonostage was always great. It was a Class-A product on Stereophile and Absolute Sounds for quite a few years and having compared the Boulder quite a few times with other Class-A products I was very happy with my choice with the 2108.
The 60Se Pro surpasses the Bloulder 2108 with ease. Not just ease but substantially. Everything I have played from Coltrane to Kate Bush and Genesis to James Taylor sounds NEW. Guitars have real texture, vocals have dimension, drums sound like drums - the 60Se Pro is by far in a different league James.
