Just a very quick review of my findings from moving from the wonderful 40RDT SE to the 60Se Pro. Amazingly, they both have that signature "neutral" whest audio sound that I have lived with for more than 10 years.
What is different though is the level of complexity in the music that the 60Se Pro draws out. I am mostly classical music based in my listening tastes. A mass of violins is in general very difficult to playback on any hifi system. The 40RDT SE was the very 1st phono stage that I heard that could separate out the various violin sections convincingly. The 60Se Pro on the other hand takes that to a whole new level. I can hear so much more of the strings, the way the strings are bowed and how the player affects the harmonics. It really is like being there. I am quite stunned with this product. I cannot believe that I own such a piece of hifi. Incredible.
